Infection control has always been top priority at The Dental Venue. However, in the midst of this pandemic, we have taken extra care to keep you safe.
Here is how:
- We take temperatures of every team member at the beginning of the day.
- The Doctors as well as Auxiliary staff wear the best available personal protective equipment (PPE), including custom fitted masks and face shields to prevent cross contamination.
- In addition to the extra sterilization and infection control procedures from our end, you may notice a few changes at your next appointment.
- We will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions.
- You will be asked to fill an online form prior to your appointment.
- We will take your temperature prior to your appointment and also check your oxygen saturation levels.
- Your appointments will be scheduled to allow for social distancing between patients.
- We are maintaining a greater time gap between each visit to reduce waiting times for you.
- We are doing our best to ensure that no two people are occupying the waiting room at the same time.
- We proactively clean and disinfect our waiting rooms, patient rooms, equipment and are limiting common “touch points,” like computer registration pads and sign-in sheets.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at check-in and check-out with a minimal contact dispenser.
- Books and magazines have been removed from our waiting rooms to control any infections.
- Unless you require driving assistance, please try to avoid bringing anyone else along with you for your appointment. In case of minor children, we request that only one parent or guardian accompany them.
- In case arrive early for your appointment, we request you to wait in your vehicle till your appointment time.
- Patients experiencing a temperature, cough, or other COVID-19 symptoms will not be permitted.
We thank you for your understanding!
While things may seem a bit different in our office right now, please know that our dental team is committed to maintaining the quality of our care.
It is important to maintain good oral health during the pandemic.
Taking care of your dental health is always important — but it’s especially critical during this Coronavirus pandemic. There is a direct correlation to the health of the mouth and the overall body. Infection, inflammation, and other oral health issues have been linked to a variety of diseases.
Don’t let oral health issues affect your ability to fight off a virus and stay healthy. If you or a family member are experiencing symptoms of fever or cough, or if you have been a primary contact of a COVID positive patient (even if you do not exhibit symptoms), we kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment to a later date by calling our office.
We request you to hold off making appointments if you are from a containment zone.
We’re very flexible with rescheduled appointments as we understand everyone’s concerns at this time.
We are also open to online consultations or phone consultations wherever possible to minimize the number of visits to our office.
Thank you for your trust.
